What do you think is causing teen pregnancy?

My answer to this is bad or absent parenting. Not that kids can't hide things from their parents, but majority is because an active parent is lacking in their lives and is clueless to what their kids are doing. Either they are working full time, a single parent, or more into being "cool" to their kids then keeping them in line. Also, has become "no biggie" these days and the "everyone is doing it" mentality lives true. It is not seen as sacred anymore or something to save for the one you will marry. Obviously with this belief more and more teens will be getting pregnant, so it is no surprise to me to see this becoming an epidemic. Until people wake up and see the sanctity in again there are going to be a lot of young mothers and babies added to the world!
