If i call will i sound pushy or needy?

so i met this girl while dancing with her at a club last sunday and got her number. i didnt fallow that rule where you wait and call 2days after getting the number. instead i called the day after because i thought she would forget about me. when i called i kept things short and simple: i asked her how she was doing, told her why i called, asked if she could hang at the mall that day or the next day. she said she would see if she could go to the mall with me the day after yesterday and then we hung up. but theres a problem today is the day that we are supose to go out, and its raining pretty bad. i know i should call to see if shes still able to come or not or to cancel, it only makes sence. but were pretty much still strangers and i dont know how to call with out seeming pushy or needy. can anyone help?
