Acer laptop screws won't come off!?

The ends of the screws probably have safety fall offs. Meaning the bottom end lightly latches on to the inside of the screw hole so that they don't fall out when you unscrew them. Just gently put a flathead screwdriver into a small crack under the plastic plate and push up. They'll pop out like they're supposed to.
