Rubbing Alcohol in Mouth?

I had a small cut in my mouth. Worried, I put rubbing alcohol in my mouth to rinse. I did not swallow the rubbing alcohol. I don't know what came over me. Am I going to be ok? Does anyone know? Again, I did NOT swallow any of the rubbing alcohol liquid. The bottle talks about gastric disturbances IF SWALLOWED. I did not swallow. Also, what is gastric disturbances?
