20 week sonogram looking for people who have had it?

Most the time at 20 weeks they will give you an anatomy scan. Which basically is just an ultrasound that takes alot longer than normal cuz they are checking and measuring stuff. If that is the case then they will start by looking at your uterus to see how big and if it has enough fluid. Then they will look at the baby and take measurements of the bones in the arms and legs. They will look at the heart for any defects, tell you the heart rate, check the umbilical cord to make sure it has 3 veins and see if its attached to you. They also look at the brain to see if its developing at the right pace. At the end they take all the measurements and figure out how far you along you are exactly. Basically everything there is to see they look at.
