My friend is 15 with ITP doctors can't do any more. What should I do? Anything that he can take naturally?

He is going to be released from the hospital after spending 11 days in the hospital. He has ITP they gave him 3 treatments 5 blood transfusions, and steriods and his platelet count is only 6000. Is there any natural herbs or anything on the market that can increase platelet count and help his ITP. He has been released on Hospis (sp) and he is about to die. Any help?
