Can I use ANY kind of bath mat in a reglazed tub?

Just had this done. Didn't know until afterwards that use of a bath mat with suction cups can damage the surface. Great grandma coming in one week who will be using the tub. Is there any kind of bath mat that is ok to use in a reglazed tub???
