Am I high maintenance?

high maintenance yea, is it a turn off to most guys? yes (but not all). Sounds like your friend Evy's your lifestyle also in my opinion (she might not be so lucky i guess). Its just a different type of life style, if your friend doesn't like it then too bad i think, then she has chosen the wrong type of friends to hang out with.
