What has Obama done so far?

I thought he was supposed to be like a "messiah" or something the way the world acted when he came to power but I have not heard of any of his great exploits so far. Maybe because I'm from the UK the news I see and hear is heavily geared towards my country. I mean Lincoln gave slave emancipation, Nixon opened diplomatic relations with China, Roosevelt ended the great depression and so on so forth. What will the world say about Obama in 10, 20, 100 years time? That he was black. That's no great achievement in my eyes; it's not about who you are but what you do.
